Two Napa luminaries—Abigail Estrada of TEXTBOOK and Kimberlee Nicholls of Markham—unite their talents in a first-of-its-kind collaboration. Each winemaker traded signatures, blending Abigail’s plush Merlot from Regusci Oakville Ranch with Kim’s expressive Cabernet from Markham’s Yountville estate, forging a 50/50 marriage of two iconic AVAs. Aged 18 months in 100% new French oak, this wine has layered depth, richness, and seamless texture, reflecting both precision and artistry. Crafted exclusively for Premiere Napa Valley 2026, it is a living testament to Napa’s spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and the collaborative spirit of Napa Valley.

Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Kimberlee Nicholls has
earned a reputation as one of Napa Valley’s most respected
winemakers. With a gifted palate, and over three decades of Napa
Valley winemaking knowledge and experience, Kim crafts
wines of character and complexity from Markham’s 260 acres of
certified sustainable estate vineyards in Yountville, Oak Knoll
and Calistoga.

Abigail Estrada

For Abigail Estrada, winemaking has always been about curiosity and connection. After earning her degree at UC Davis, she refined her craft at iconic Napa estates including Robert Mondavi, Domaine Chandon, and Markham Vineyards. Her pursuit of knowledge took her across the globe—to vineyards in Italy, New Zealand, and Israel—where she absorbed both technique and culture, adding depth and perspective to her own style. In 2021, Abigail assumed the winemaking helm at TEXTBOOK, carrying forward the founding vision of creating “textbook” expressions of site and varietal while infusing her own modern sensibility. Today, she crafts small-lot Cabernets from prized vineyards in Oakville and Yountville, delivering pedigree, craftsmanship, and rare value that are redefining Napa luxury.
