Wesley Steffens
Winemaker, Vineyard 7 & 8
Wesley’s journey in Napa Valley began in 2001 after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America. He spent nearly two years working for Thomas Keller at the French Laundry, honing his passion for food and wine. In 2002, Wes started as a harvest intern at Harlan Estate, where he gained a deep appreciation and understanding of the winemaking process. After four years as a member of the winemaking team at the Harlan Estate and BOND wineries, Wes’s path led him up Spring Mountain to Vineyard 7 & 8, where he took the reins of his family’s dream.
As the winery’s Estate Director and Winemaker, Wes is surrounded by a world-class team, enabling him to focus on the constant quest for exceptional wine quality, growing brand awareness, and providing a premier guest experience.
