Torcia Luminous Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from 100% estate-grown fruit at the Abela Vineyard in the heart of the Rutherford AVA. Guided by winemaker Marc Zaccaria, the wine reflects decades of expertise, showcasing balance, elegance, and finesse. “Torcia,” meaning torch in Italian, symbolizes the passing of the torch through five generations, celebrating family legacy and Napa heritage. This limited-release Cabernet highlights the vineyard’s unique terroir, emphasizing purity and complexity while honoring tradition. Torcia Luminous is more than a wine—it is a tribute to craftsmanship, lineage, and the enduring vision of a family dedicated to exceptional Napa Valley winemaking.

Marc Zaccaria
Winemaker, Torcia
Marc joins Rutherford Wine Company with a strong background in California winemaking, with a focus on Napa and Sonoma. He was most recently the winemaker for Treasury Wine Estate’s Etude Wines. He gained experience with other brands such as Chateau St. Jean, Sledgehammer and Run Riot and has international experience with Wolf Blass in Barossa Valley.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Wine and Viticulture/Enology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
