Description
From the acclaimed Firetree Vineyard in Los Carneros, this 10-case lot of Chardonnay embodies the heart of our estate and the meaning behind our motto, Fidem et Futurum—faith and future. Crafted by winemaker Julien Fayard, the wine originates from Blocks F and E, the oldest and most cherished parcels on our family vineyard—fe, meaning “faith” in Spanish. Aged 18 months in new French oak, stainless steel, and concrete egg, this limited Premiere Napa Valley Chardonnay reflects our faith in the land and those who share it.

Julien Fayard
Winemaker, Firetree Family Vineyards
Julien was introduced to the Jimenez family and Firetree Family Vineyards in 2021 through a neighboring vintner. He immediately got to work with Ben Leachman, the vineyard manager, to bring the vineyard to its peak potential ahead of the family’s inaugural harvest. With more than two decades of winemaking expertise, Julien is one of Napa Valley’s most respected winemakers producing California varietals with French finesse. Originally from France, he believes in producing wines with an identity — exploiting what makes each one unique. At Firetree Family Vineyards, Julien’s wines are a pure expression of their terroir, upholding the highest standard in the vineyard and highlighting the characteristics of the fruit in each wine.
