Crafted by winemaker Nicole Marchesi in collaboration with Thomas Rivers Brown, it marries deep intensity with polished finesse in a seamless composition. Low-yielding vines rooted in alluvial gravelly loam have produced fruit of striking concentration and balance. Aged in French oak, the wine is framed by sleek tannins and a polished finish. Created exclusively for Premiere Napa Valley, this limited lot embodies Far Niente’s hallmark style, delivering an eloquent expression of Oakville’s western-bench possessing both grace and grandeur.

Nicole Marchesi
Winemaker, House of Far Niente/TRB
A graduate of the Viticulture and Enology program at The University of California at Davis, Nicole Marchesi honed her skills in Sonoma and New Zealand before coming to Far Niente as an enologist in 2005. She was soon promoted to assistant winemaker, and 4 years later became the fourth winemaker in Far Niente's 30-year history. During her tenure, Marchesi has gained a deep understanding of our estate vineyards, working with the sites and individual blocks to bring forth the discrete character of each. Ultimately, Marchesi strives to create wines of elegance and depth that capture both place and vintage, while staying true to the Far Niente house style.
