Highlights

  • A single-block Cabernet from Rutherford’s historic Tonella Vineyard
  • Inky and expressive, the Weimer Selection offers depth, tension, and graceful longevity.
  • Classic Rutherford Dust and volcanic depth define this age-worthy single-clone wine.
  • A reflection of Sequoia Grove’s pursuit of balance, structure, and site-driven purity.

Description

The Weimer Selection emerges from Rutherford’s legendary Tonella Vineyard, a single-block Cabernet born of rare air and quiet distinction. For nearly 20 years, Sequoia Grove has drawn from Tonella’s volcanic soils and gentle benchland slopes to craft wines of power and precision. This bottling comes exclusively from a single block descended from Château Latour vines—tiny in quantity, monumental in character. Deep, inky, and magnetic, it radiates the classic Rutherford Dust and volcanic intensity that collectors covet. This unique offering is a private encounter with the vineyard’s soul, a reflection of Sequoia Grove’s unwavering pursuit of purity, balance, and timeless sophistication. An exercise in true rarity, made to be coveted.
